Connecticut man arrested for AutoZone robbery with BB gun
A Connecticut man has been arrested for allegedly robbing an AutoZone store in Southington. Hector Roman, 47, is accused of pointing a BB gun at a clerk during the incident on Tuesday. Police say the robbery occurred around 5:55 p.m. when Roman was confronted by a store employee. He allegedly pulled out a black pistol and threatened the employee while stealing items from the store. After the robbery, police found Roman at his home. During a search, they discovered clothing that matched the suspect's description, as well as two black pistol-style BB guns. Roman has been charged with several serious offenses, including first-degree robbery and reckless endangerment. He is being held on a $250,000 bond and appeared in court on Wednesday.
