Connecticut to experience rain, sleet, and snow today

Connecticut is expected to experience a mix of snow and rain today, with sleet also possible. The National Weather Service forecasts rain and sleet through Tuesday and Wednesday. In Southern Connecticut, the weather earlier today included sleet and rain. The rest of the day is anticipated to bring only rain, with southeast winds gusting up to 23 mph. The chance of precipitation is 100%, but little to no sleet accumulation is expected. For the next few days, light snow is predicted for Tuesday and Wednesday. Meteorologist Bill Goodman reassured that there is no need for concern regarding travel. "No accumulation" is expected from the snow. Later in the week, Connecticut will have partly cloudy skies and a chance of rain over the weekend.
