Conor McGregor's UFC career may be finished
Conor McGregor, a well-known UFC fighter, has been told by former champion Daniel Cormier that his UFC career may be over. This statement comes just days after McGregor visited Donald Trump at the White House. During the visit, McGregor expressed his interest in running for Prime Minister of Ireland and shared his views on immigration. Cormier, who was speaking on his podcast, suggested that McGregor shows more interest in politics than in fighting. He questioned McGregor's decision to meet Trump and expressed concern that fans might have seen the last of him in the octagon. Cormier said, “I think it’s over,” and noted that it is sad to see McGregor's career potentially end this way. McGregor, 36, had plans to return to the ring last June but had to withdraw due to an injury. He has not fought since breaking his leg in 2021. UFC President Dana White had previously mentioned a possible return for McGregor, but recently seemed uncertain about when that might happen. Additionally, McGregor is dealing with legal issues after being found liable for assaulting someone in Dublin in 2018. He has appealed this decision, hoping for a different outcome. Fans continue to wonder if he will return to the UFC or if his career is truly finished.
