Copilot features for OneDrive launch for Microsoft 365 subscribers
Microsoft has started to roll out Copilot features for OneDrive to its Microsoft 365 Family and Personal subscribers. This update allows users to use AI tools to manage their files more efficiently. The Copilot features are currently only available in the web version of OneDrive. Only paying subscribers can access these new tools. Microsoft aims to help users make decisions and complete their tasks more quickly without needing to open each file. Users will be able to summarize up to five documents at once. They can also compare documents side by side, with Copilot highlighting relevant differences in a table format. Additionally, subscribers can ask specific questions about a document through a chat feature. This rollout of Copilot in OneDrive is expected to continue until late June 2025. There is no information yet on when it might be available for OneDrive on desktop or mobile devices. For more information, users can visit Microsoft Support or check their FAQ.
