Corewell Health opens advanced training facility in Grand Rapids for healthcare professionals

Corewell Health has opened a new $4.2 million Clinical Simulation Center in Grand Rapids, featuring advanced manikins and virtual reality rooms. This facility is the largest of its kind in the region, providing a realistic training environment for healthcare professionals. Previously, residents practiced in less suitable locations like operating rooms after hours. The new center allows for more effective training, with 20 to 30 users each week since its November opening. The 10,000 square-foot facility is part of a larger $100 million building that includes various medical clinics. It aims to enhance skill development and career growth for healthcare practitioners.
