Corona Island in Colombia opens for public bookings
Corona has officially opened Corona Island, an eco-friendly getaway off the coast of Colombia. Travelers can now book their stays on major sites like Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com. Previously an invite-only destination, Corona Island offers a chance to disconnect and immerse in nature. Located 20 kilometers southwest of Cartagena, it features ten waterfront bungalows, each with a private jacuzzi. The island promotes eco-tourism, ensuring all stays are all-inclusive for two guests. Corona Island is the first island in the world to receive a three-star plastic-free Blue Seal. This certification is awarded for eliminating single-use plastics and following sustainable practices. The island's design and operations focus on preserving the environment. Guests can take part in various eco-conscious activities and enjoy beautiful landscapes. Clarissa Pantoja, Corona’s Global VP, emphasized the blend of relaxation and conservation in this unique setting, encouraging both eco-tourists and travel lovers to visit. For those interested, more information and booking options are available on popular travel platforms. Corona, known for its commitment to nature, aims to protect the environment while providing memorable experiences for visitors.
