Couple abducted by woman's family in Hisar

A young couple was reportedly abducted six months after their love marriage. The incident has led police to file a case against 15 individuals, including the bride's parents. Anil, from Barwala, married Asha from Chhainsa village in Faridabad on September 9, 2024. Since March 13, they had been living with Anil's aunt, Sunita, in Hisar's Mahavir Colony. On Tuesday night, around 9 PM, Asha's parents arrived at their home with a group of about 12 to 13 people in two vehicles. They attacked Anil and his mother, Sundari Devi, before taking Anil and Asha with them by force. The police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against Asha's parents, Jai Singh and his wife, along with the unidentified group members. The case is being investigated under relevant laws.
