Couple convicted of animal cruelty receives death threats

Daniel Kilty and Kelly Utting have received death threats after being convicted of animal cruelty for the treatment of their emaciated dachshund, Duggy, who had to be euthanized. They were fined £1,100 each and banned from owning animals for ten years. The couple claims they did not intentionally starve Duggy, stating he fell ill and lost weight despite their efforts to feed him. They have seven other dogs and insist they care for them properly, despite the RSPCA's findings. The RSPCA began investigating after Duggy was taken to a vet in December 2023, where he was found in critical condition. The couple missed their trial due to a family commitment and are contesting the ruling regarding their other pets.
