Couple living in tent after mother's murder accusations
A couple, Mary Ray and Hassan Ali Gori, arrested in connection with the murder of Mary’s mother, Josephine Ray, are now living in a tent after being forced out of their home. They claim they face ongoing attacks and harassment from the community. Josephine Ray, 89, was found dead in her home in August 2024. Mary and Hassan, who were released without charge, remain suspects as authorities prepare a file for the Director of Public Prosecutions. They maintain their innocence. Mary reported that they have been called murderers and faced physical attacks since the incident. She insists she did not harm her mother and is seeking support from witnesses who may have information about the case.
