Couple's home featured in Netflix series "Adolescence."

A young couple, Bethany Fletcher and Dylan Naylor, recently shared their experience of having their home featured in the popular Netflix series "Adolescence." Their three-bedroom house in South Kirkby, Yorkshire, served as the backdrop for the character Eddie Miller, played by Stephen Graham. The couple had to move out for three months last summer to accommodate the filming. They were surprised when they received a letter from Warp Films expressing interest in using their home. At first, Bethany thought it was a scam, but a quick phone call confirmed that it was real. Dylan, a floor layer, described the experience as "winning the postcode lottery." When Stephen Graham visited their house for a viewing, Bethany was starstruck, having forgotten his name amidst her busy schedule with the children. The couple found Graham and the cast to be polite and friendly throughout the filming process. Most of the couple's belongings were replaced by the production crew, who even redecorated the entire house. The only items that remained were their kitchen table and a few props they were allowed to keep after filming. The experience was described as "incredible" by both Bethany and Dylan, who have since enjoyed watching the show. They used the compensation payment from the production towards a deposit for their home, which they are in the process of buying from Bethany's mother. Now, they look back at the time they spent living elsewhere during filming and feel grateful for the unique opportunity their home presented.
