Cowboys may re-sign wide receiver Amari Cooper

The Dallas Cowboys are looking to add a reliable wide receiver to their roster. Currently, CeeDee Lamb is their main target, but they may be considering a reunion with Amari Cooper, who is still available in free agency. Amari Cooper used to be a star for the Cowboys. During his time with the team, he and Lamb together recorded over 4,000 yards and 24 touchdowns. Cooper was traded to the Cleveland Browns before the 2022 season and later moved to the Buffalo Bills. Last season, he struggled to perform well but was a Pro Bowler in 2023. Mitch Milani, an NFL analyst, has speculated that Cooper could return to Dallas. He has suggested a two-year deal worth $37 million for Cooper. If he rejoins the team, it could create a powerful offense alongside Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott. Cooper has a strong history with the Cowboys, gathering almost 4,000 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns during his time there. Despite not having the best last season, he has a recent record of a 1,250-yard season in 2023. With limited options available in free agency, the Cowboys might see Cooper as their best choice. They are also considering drafting a wide receiver, but they have other priorities that may take precedence.
