Cricket match dispute injures eight in Aligarh

Eight people were hurt in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, after a fight broke out over a cricket match. The incident involved two women among the injured. The conflict began between two neighbors, Anas and Mohsin, while they were playing cricket. The situation escalated on Thursday night. Neighbors tried to help resolve the issue, but it turned violent. There was brick-throwing and gunfire from rooftops during the clash, causing multiple injuries. Police reported that some individuals suffered knife injuries as well. All eight injured were taken to the district hospital for treatment. Five of them, who had head injuries, were moved to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College. The rest received first aid and were released. Local authorities said order has been restored in the area. A case has been filed, and they are investigating the incident further.
