CEBU CITY, Philippines — The Cebu Youth Basketball League (CYBL) Chairman’s Cup 2025 is set to resume after a two-week break. The games will take place on Saturday, March 22, at the Cebu Sports Hub in Mandaue City. This weekend features four matches as the tournament reaches its fifth week. The first game starts at 8:00 AM, where the Professional Youth Fellowship Basketball Association (PYFBA) will face the Salazar Colleges of Science and Institute of Technology (SC-SIT). PYFBA is currently ranked No. 3 in Group A. The second game will see San Roque Bogo challenge Atty. Dico, with both teams tied at 2-2 and hoping to claim third place in Group B. A win for either team will strengthen their chances for the playoffs. In the last game on Saturday, the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) Magis Eagles will play against PAREF Springdale Dynamic Power at noon. The Magis Eagles hope to turn their luck around, as they have one win and two losses so far. SHS-AdC will then return to the court on Sunday for a game against the unbeaten University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) V-Drink, who hold a perfect 4-0 record. This matchup could be a significant challenge for the Magis Eagles as they look to improve their standings.
