Another popular model was the Renault Clio, with 269,436 units sold. Built on the same platform as the Sandero, the Clio features a stylish design and spacious boot size of 391 liters, one of the largest in its class. It has been a well-known name in Europe for nearly 35 years. The Volkswagen Golf also had impressive sales, with 225,256 units sold in 2024. This car has been a favorite since its introduction in 1974, known for its enjoyable driving experience and efficient engines. Although it is pricier than some rivals, starting at £27,570, the Golf offers a wide variety of versions, from economical to sporty, appealing to many different drivers.
