Dakota Lancers secure back-to-back titles in Winnipeg high school football finals
Winnipeg high school football concluded with three championship games on November 7, 2024. The Tec Voc Hornets won the Currie Bowl, defeating the John Taylor Pipers 24-11. This victory marked a significant improvement from last season's disappointing finish. In the JV9 final, the Vincent Massey Vikings triumphed over the Miles Mac Buckeyes 40-16. The Vikings showcased a strong second half, scoring four touchdowns to secure their championship win. The Dakota Lancers claimed the Anavets Championship, beating the Oak Park Raiders 11-3. This victory made them back-to-back champions, highlighting their strong defensive performance throughout the game.
