Damian McKenzie named in World XV as Pieter-Steph du Toit wins player of the year again

All Blacks flanker Wallace Sititi did not make the World Rugby team of the year despite a strong season. The loose forward spots went to Pieter-Steph du Toit, Pablo Matera, and Caelan Doris. Pieter-Steph du Toit was named player of the year for the second time. The World XV includes Tyrel Lomax, Damian McKenzie, and Will Jordan, with seven players from South Africa.
