Damon Hill warns Lando Norris about Oscar Piastri
Former Formula 1 champion Damon Hill has sent a warning to Lando Norris after his recent victory at the Australian Grand Prix. Hill believes Norris's teammate, Oscar Piastri, will be a strong competitor this season. Norris won the race, while defending champion Max Verstappen and George Russell also made it to the podium. Piastri finished ninth after struggling on a wet track. He was stuck in the grass for nearly a full lap while Norris managed to recover quickly after going off track. Piastri made light of his difficult situation by joking about needing to reverse a tractor, a skill he practiced during the off-season. Hill expressed confidence that Piastri would improve for the next race in Shanghai, saying, "He'll be back." Piastri reflected on his performance, admitting he made a mistake but found positives in his overall race. He stated that despite his disappointment, he performed well for most of the race. McLaren's team principal, Andrea Stella, noted that both drivers were doing well until the heavy rain affected their performance. He added that with strong car performance, Piastri will likely achieve better results soon.
