Dana White announces new main events for UFC 310 and UFC Tampa
UFC President Dana White announced two new main events for December, addressing issues with UFC 310. The men's flyweight title fight between Alexandre Pantoja and Kai Asakura has been elevated to the main event. The new co-main event features undefeated welterweights Shavkat Rakhmonov and Ian Machado Garry. The winner will earn a title shot against Belal Muhammad in early 2025. Colby Covington will now face Joaquin Buckley in the main event for UFC Tampa, replacing Garry, who was initially scheduled to fight Buckley. This change aims to maintain the appeal of both events.
