Daniel Mejia from Puerto Rico wins Mr. World 2024 title in Vietnam
Daniel Mejia from Puerto Rico has been crowned Mr. World 2024 in Vietnam, becoming the first Puerto Rican to win the title. He triumphed over 59 competitors at the 11th Mr. World contest held on November 23. Mejia excelled in the Sports Challenge and Talent Competition, securing a spot in the semifinals. The first runner-up was Vietnam's Pham Tuan Ngoc, with Spain's Toni Company Toeps as second runner-up and Angola's Filipe Salvador Maria in third. Kirk Bondad from the Philippines finished in the Top 20. He was appointed Mr. World Philippines in 2022, but the contest was postponed until now. Andrew Wolff remains the highest-placing Filipino, finishing as first runner-up in 2012.
