DAP reaffirms unity ahead of 16th General Election

Steven Sim, the newly appointed deputy secretary-general of DAP, has insisted that the party remains united despite a competitive internal election. He emphasized that all members will work together to secure victory in the upcoming 16th General Election (GE16). Sim described the roles given to Penang delegates in the leadership process as a positive sign. He stated that the Penang DAP has been preparing for the next election since the last one, especially in areas like Seberang Perai, where the opposition made significant gains. To enhance their efforts, the party will establish a special task force focused on constituencies in Penang. Sim noted that DAP MPs and assembly members have been actively engaging with the community to serve their needs. He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with other parties in the MADANI government to achieve a collective victory. Sim expressed confidence in DAP representatives' dedication to their constituents, showcasing their commitment to public service.
