Daryl Jacob discusses racing prospects for Double Green owners
Daryl Jacob, Operations Manager for the Double Green racing team, shared insights about nine horses racing this weekend. The team, owned by Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, previously secured a winner at the Cheltenham Festival. At Newbury, Jacob mentioned two key runners in the Goffs Hundred Grand Bumper. Talk The Talk is a forward-moving four-year-old who has been showing promise. Blue De Neuf, a five-year-old chasing type, is also expected to perform well, especially with rain expected to soften the ground. In Kelso, Green Sky has a strong chance in a £100,000 race after a successful qualifier at Newcastle. Meanwhile, at Navan, Krak is a horse to watch. He has shown solid form in previous races and needs to settle down better to compete effectively. C’Est Ta Chance might benefit from drying ground while Blue D’Enfer is yet to win after ten races but consistently places well. On Sunday, the team has two runners at Limerick. Mongibello needs soft ground to thrive, while Fun Fun Fun is set to race over three miles. Her family are strong stayers, and she aims to bounce back after a disappointing last performance. Lastly, Green Triangle will race at Naas, rounding out the team’s lineup for the weekend’s events. Jacob expresses optimism for the horses' performances across the board.
