Dave Portnoy addressed salary claims made by former Barstool Sports employee Grace O’Malley. In a TikTok video, he revealed that O’Malley earned a base salary of $175,000, plus 70% of her social media earnings, totaling $250,000 in 2024. O’Malley had suggested her co-host Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia made significantly more money. Portnoy explained that LaPaglia was paid more due to her larger following and popularity when O’Malley joined Barstool, stating that O’Malley had no prior following. Portnoy also refuted O’Malley’s claim that she made no money from their podcast tour, clarifying that it was primarily LaPaglia's tour. O’Malley recently announced her departure from Barstool and plans to work with Alex Cooper’s Unwell Network.
