David Draiman suing landlord over undisclosed mold issues

David Draiman, the lead singer of the metal band Disturbed, is suing his former landlord over mold issues in a house he rented. The lawsuit was filed on March 11, 2025, in Coral Gables, Florida. Draiman claims the landlord misrepresented the condition of the six-bedroom home. He says he found leaks and mold that were not disclosed before he moved in. The singer reported these problems to the landlord, who promised to fix them, but no repairs were made. Consequently, Draiman left the property. In his lawsuit, Draiman is asking for the return of his $37,000 security deposit. He has accused the landlord of fraud, negligence, and unjust enrichment. Draiman’s legal team emphasized that the mold affects his ability to perform as the lead singer of a touring rock band. Disturbed is currently on tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their debut album, "The Sickness."
