Dawes drummer reflects on Grammy performance and community support after Eaton Fire loss
Dawes band members Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith lost their homes in the Eaton Fire, which also destroyed Taylor's recording studio. They opened the Grammys with a performance of "I Love L.A." to raise awareness for fire victims. The Goldsmith brothers have been active in supporting their community through benefit concerts like FireAid. They aim to help others affected by the fire while coping with their own losses. Dawes released a version of "I Love L.A." to benefit fire relief efforts. They are also featured in a new compilation album, "Good Music To Lift Up Los Angeles," which includes 90 songs from various artists.
