Daytime soap star Wayne Northrop dies at 77 in Los Angeles

Wayne Northrop, a well-known actor from daytime soap operas, died on November 29 in Los Angeles at the age of 77. He had been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s six years prior. Northrop was famous for his role as Roman Brady on "Days of Our Lives," appearing in over 1,000 episodes. He also starred in "Dynasty" and "Port Charles." His wife, Lynn Herring Northrop, shared that he passed away surrounded by family. She expressed gratitude for the care he received at the Motion Picture and Television Home.
