DC Comics cancels Neil Gaiman's Death title while Amazon Prime series moves forward

DC Comics has canceled the release of Neil Gaiman's title, "Death: DC Compact Comics Edition," originally set for September 2. This decision follows multiple allegations of sexual misconduct against Gaiman, which he denies. In addition to "Death," orders for a facsimile edition of "Sandman #8" have also been canceled. Other publishers, including Dark Horse Comics, have halted future works by Gaiman amid the allegations. Despite these cancellations, Amazon Prime's adaptation of Gaiman's "Anansi Boys" is still expected to stream later this year. However, the adaptation of "Good Omens" will conclude with a single episode instead of a full season.
