Wolbachia mosquitoes reduce dengue cases in Indonesia significantly

Indonesia's Ministry of Health confirms Wolbachia mosquitoes reduce dengue cases by 77% and hospitalizations by 86%. Aedes aegypti mosquitoes with Wolbachia reached 20%, below the ideal 60% for effectiveness. Research spanned 12 years, with four stages from 2011 to 2023.
