DDA plans mobile kitchen in retired bus at Vatika Park
The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) plans to convert a retired CNG bus into a mobile kitchen at Vatika Park. This initiative aims to creatively reuse an out-of-service vehicle for on-site catering, similar to food trucks. DDA has invited private agencies to submit feasibility reports and design proposals for the bus conversion. The deadline for applications was March 8. The project seeks to set a precedent for repurposing retired public transport vehicles. The 2010 model bus, which is no longer operational, will undergo significant modifications to accommodate kitchen equipment. DDA is looking for detailed plans on structural changes and compliance with safety regulations for the kitchen setup.
