Decatur man arrested for domestic violence against woman

A man from Decatur has been arrested and charged with second-degree domestic violence. The charge comes after he allegedly attacked the mother of his children. Last week, police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance on Lynnwood Circle Southwest. Officers found a woman with a head injury. Authorities identified Gregory Terell Goodwin, 41, as the attacker. The woman was taken to Parkway Medical Center for treatment. Her injuries are not life-threatening. Goodwin was arrested the following day and taken to the Morgan County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000.
