Decomposed female body found in Anderson County creek

A body of a woman was found in a creek in Anderson County on Wednesday night. Two people walking in the area noticed the body around 7:30 p.m. The police and coroner's office quickly arrived to investigate the situation. The fire department and ambulance service helped in removing the body. The Anderson County Coroner's Office is working to identify the deceased.
