Delhi faces hazardous air quality and toxic foam in Yamuna after Diwali celebrations
Delhi's air quality remains hazardous, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 369 recorded on Sunday morning, two days after Diwali. Parts of Gurugram reported even higher levels, exceeding 400. Thick smog has blanketed the city, affecting visibility and daily activities. Joggers at Kartavya Path faced poor conditions as air quality stayed in the "very poor" category. Additionally, toxic foam has appeared in the Yamuna River, raising concerns among residents and political leaders ahead of Chhath Puja.
