Delhi Police intensifies crackdown on organized crime
The Delhi Police are taking action against organized crime by preparing a list of gangsters and monitoring minors involved with gangs. Senior police officers held a meeting to discuss their efforts in tackling crime in the city. This meeting followed a recent review led by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Attendees included Special Commissioners of Police and Deputy Commissioners. They talked about anti-narcotics operations and how foreign-based gangsters are recruiting minors through their associates in jail. Police officers are focusing on the online activities of gangsters. They aim to keep a close watch on minors connected to these gangs. A comprehensive list of known and emerging gangsters has been created, with strict surveillance measures in place. During the meeting, officers reviewed their progress over the last two weeks and set new targets for the upcoming weeks. Another review meeting is scheduled for March 31, as police continue their work against organized crime.
