Delhi tourist found dead in Uttarakhand after accident

A tourist from Delhi, Vinayak Bali, went missing in Uttarakhand and was found dead five days later. His body was discovered in a damaged car in a deep gorge in Pauri district on Wednesday. Vinayak, 26, was visiting the Ghattu Gad area with friends. He had been staying at a resort near Laxman Jhula. According to his friends, he left for Delhi early on March 14 without informing anyone and had been unreachable since then, as his phone was off. A missing person report was filed by his friend, Tikshika Naval, prompting a search by local authorities. The search ended when his body was found. It had decomposed significantly, but he was identified by the anklets he was wearing. Police believe that Vinayak's car crashed, leading to his death. Drones were employed during the search to locate the vehicle.
