Delhi women to receive ₹2,100 monthly under new financial scheme after elections
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced a new financial assistance program for women, called the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana.' Women will receive ₹1,000 per month, increasing to ₹2,100 after the February 2025 elections. Registration for the scheme starts tomorrow, with Aam Aadmi Party workers visiting households to enroll women. Eligibility includes not being an income taxpayer, government employee, or pensioner. Kejriwal emphasized that the scheme aims to support women managing families amid rising inflation. He dismissed concerns about funding, stating he has the expertise to manage finances effectively.
