Delhi's air quality stays very poor for third consecutive day
Delhi's air quality has remained in the "very poor" category for three consecutive days, with an average Air Quality Index (AQI) of 384 recorded on Tuesday morning. This is a slight increase from 381 on Monday and 382 on Sunday. At least 11 monitoring stations reported severe pollution levels, with Anand Vihar reaching an AQI of 457. Calm winds and low temperatures have hindered the dispersion of pollutants, and conditions are expected to remain similar. Previously, stronger winds had helped reduce pollution levels after Diwali, with an AQI of 339 on Friday. However, the recent drop in wind speed has led to increased pollution levels since Saturday.
