Delnaaz Irani joined Bigg Boss for financial support

Delnaaz Irani recently shared her experiences from the reality show Bigg Boss and her career in an interview. She discussed her journey in the entertainment industry, which includes work in television, movies, and theatre. Delnaaz participated in Bigg Boss season 6, reaching the semi-finals. She described her time on the show as a significant, yet not life-changing, experience. “I joined for money during tough times,” she said. At that time in 2011, she was facing financial struggles and felt the need to improve her situation. Reflecting on her past, Delnaaz noted the difference between her then and now. She admitted that she had been cautious and focused on pleasing others to stay in the game. The money from Bigg Boss helped her pay off debts and reorganize her life. In the interview, she also talked about her role in the film Kal Ho Naa Ho. She recalled filming a very emotional scene with Shah Rukh Khan, where no one needed glycerin to produce tears. Delnaaz credited director Nikkhil Advani for giving her the opportunity to witness that iconic moment. Currently, Delnaaz continues to balance her work. She appears in the television show Mannat and was part of Zoya Akhtar's The Archies in 2023.
