Delta Force enters open beta as a versatile free-to-play shooter

Delta Force, a new free-to-play shooter, combines elements from various FPS genres. Currently in open beta, it features two modes: Warfare, a large-scale PvP combat experience, and Operations, an extraction shooter. A campaign mode is planned as paid DLC. Warfare mode allows 64 players to engage in team-based battles, focusing on capturing strategic points. The gameplay is fast-paced, with players using unique operatives and vehicles to gain an advantage. However, some players may find the shooting mechanics less satisfying due to bullet physics. Operations mode involves players forming squads to loot and escape from AI and human enemies. The maps provide clear objectives, enhancing gameplay. While the initial experience is enjoyable, concerns about repetitive loot and map familiarity may arise as players progress.
