Demo available for survival game "Permafrost" now

A new survival game called Permafrost was recently showcased at the Future Games Show. The dramatic trailer begins with the moon exploding and quickly leads to a world covered in endless winter. Permafrost combines traditional survival gameplay with challenges brought on by extreme cold and snow. The trailer features abandoned skyscrapers frozen in ice, fierce blizzards, and icy forests. It also highlights the companionship of a loyal dog that follows the player. Gameplay involves crafting and survival strategies, reminiscent of other survival games like The Forest. Players will build shelters to endure the cold, explore frozen cities, and defend against wild animals using bows and guns. The game offers both solo and multiplayer options for players. While Permafrost is set to release sometime in 2025, a demo is available now on Steam for players who want to try it out with friends.
