Denmark allocates $194 million to bolster Ukraine's military against Russia
Denmark has announced a $194 million allocation to support Ukraine's military efforts against Russia. This funding will help produce weapons and equipment in Ukraine, financed by Denmark and frozen Russian assets. Denmark also plans to establish a joint defense hub in Kyiv. In ongoing conflict developments, Ukrainian forces reportedly attacked a substation near the Russian-held Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which Russia claims is a terrorist act. Meanwhile, Russian strikes on a medical center in Sumy killed at least nine people, with drone attacks also reported in the Kharkiv region. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted many Russian drones over Kyiv and other areas. In Russia, officials reported downing Ukrainian drones and casualties from shelling in border cities.
