Details of scrapped Pokémon Z game emerge from Game Freak hack

Details about the scrapped game Pokémon Z have emerged from a recent Game Freak hack. Initially planned as a follow-up to Pokémon X and Y, Pokémon Z would have featured Zygarde in two new forms, Forme X and Forme Y. Forme X was envisioned as a large wolf that hunts Xerneas, while Forme Y would have included weaponry. Zygarde was intended to be central to the game's plot, which involved balancing the life energy of the Kalos region. Although Pokémon Z was never released, Game Freak is revisiting the sixth generation with Pokémon Legends: Z-A, set to launch in 2025.
