Detroit Lions sign veteran tight end Kenny Yeboah
The Detroit Lions have signed veteran tight end Kenny Yeboah to a one-year deal. Yeboah, 26, previously played for the New York Jets and has nine career catches since going undrafted in 2021. Yeboah adds depth to the Lions' tight end position, which had a need after James Mitchell left for Carolina. Sam LaPorta and Brock Wright remain the primary options, while Shane Zylstra is still a free agent. Last season, Yeboah recorded five catches for 47 yards and one touchdown. He brings size and experience to compete for a spot in the Lions' rotation and on special teams.
