Devaswom Board clarifies Mohanlal's misunderstanding about offering

The Travancore Devaswom Board has clarified a misunderstanding related to Mohanlal's recent comments about an offering for Mammootty at Sabarimala. This comes after Mohanlal suggested that a receipt for the offering was leaked by one of the Board's officials. In a statement today, the Devaswom Board explained that the leak was not the fault of its officials. They stated the receipt that was leaked was a copy for the devotee, while the main receipt remained with the person who made the offering. The Board emphasized that their officials did not make any mistakes. The Board also expressed hope that Mohanlal would clarify his remarks once he learns the facts. This clarification follows Mohanlal's comments during a press conference in Chennai, where he spoke about his relationship with Mammootty, calling him like a brother. Mohanlal had visited Sabarimala a week ago, making offerings and praying for his wife, Suchitra. He mentioned a minor health issue he experienced but reassured that he is recovering well.
