Developer runs Doom on Nintendo Alarmo just days after launch
A developer has successfully run the game Doom on the Nintendo Alarmo, just days after it was reported that the device could not do so. This adds Alarmo to the list of unusual platforms that can run the iconic 90s shooter. While Doom is now playable on Alarmo, there are limitations. Currently, there is no audio support, and the game must be compressed to fit the device's memory. However, the shareware version can be loaded entirely from USB. The Alarmo, an interactive alarm clock, was launched this month for Nintendo Switch Online members at £90/$99. It will be available for general sale in mid-January 2025.
