The incident occurred while he was waiting in line for darshan on Wednesday. The man, identified as Selvamani, was part of a 12-member group returning from a visit to the Sabarimala temple. After climbing the temple steps, he suddenly felt unwell. He was quickly taken to a nearby government hospital, but unfortunately, he did not survive. Medical staff indicated that he suffered a cardiac arrest. Local police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
