Digimon and Godzilla collaboration reveals new fusions
BandaiDigimon Con 2025 has introduced exciting details about the collaboration between Digimon and Godzilla. This crossover celebrates Godzilla's 70th anniversary, marking decades of giant monster films. The initial teaser showed a fusion between WarGreymon and Godzilla. At the convention, more nFusion designs were revealed. These hybrids are created from Digimon affected by G-Cells, which come from Godzilla. For example, WarGreymon has transformed into G-Eroded Wargreymon, a variant that combines elements of both characters. Other new fusions include MetalGreymon G-Erosion Mode and SkullGreymon G-Erosion Mode. There is also a version of Machinedramon inspired by Mechagodzilla. The new fusions will be available in virtual pet toys called Digivice. These toys come in two styles—color and non-color. Users can press buttons to hear Godzilla music, adding to the experience. The toys will also feature other iconic Toho monsters, such as Mothra and Ghidorah. Pre-orders for the Digimon x Godzilla virtual pets started right after the stream. They can be purchased through Premium Bandai until April 21, 2025. The price is set at 7,700 yen or about 51.81 USD. However, the product is not yet available on the US Premium Bandai website. The convention also unveiled new collectibles, including a chibi statue of MetalGreymon G-Erosion. Further updates on the Digimon Trading Card Game were shared, including new card packs and decks. Additionally, a working replica of the D-3 Digivice was announced, featuring updated visuals and sounds from the original. Collectors can also pre-order the new Digimon Card Game Tamer’s Evolution Box for 200 dollars, which includes special items themed around Omnimon.
