Dindigul hosts rally for World Tuberculosis Day awareness

World Tuberculosis Day was marked in Dindigul with a rally aimed at raising awareness about the disease. The event took place on Monday and was initiated by Collector S. Saravanan at the Government Medical College Hospital. Many participants, including nursing students from both government and private colleges, carried banners and placards to promote awareness. School students trained in skating also joined the rally. The procession started at the medical college and passed several significant locations like the head post office, bus stand, and flower market, before returning to the hospital. As part of the event, a signature campaign was organized to gather support. There were also sports and cultural activities to engage the community.
