Dionne Warwick and Kool & the Gang inducted into Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Dionne Warwick was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night, after two previous nominations in 2021 and 2022. At 83, she expressed gratitude for finally receiving the honor, wearing a sparkling blue jacket during the ceremony in Cleveland. Kool & the Gang also joined the 2024 class, receiving their first nomination after being eligible since 1994. Robert "Kool" Bell and James "J.T." Taylor performed several hits, including "Celebration," during the event, which celebrated their long musical legacy. The ceremony featured performances and tributes from various artists, including Jennifer Hudson and Teyana Taylor. Other inductees included Cher, Foreigner, and Mary J. Blige, highlighting a diverse range of musical talent.
