Director braved police to watch Vikram's 'Dhool' in Madurai
Director S U Arunkumar recently shared a personal story about his admiration for actor Vikram. He revealed that, as a school student, he once cut classes to see Vikram's popular film 'Dhool' in Madurai. This excitement led him to face some challenges. During an interview with the cast of his new film 'Veera Dheera Sooran', Arunkumar described how difficult it was to get tickets for the film's first showing. There was a huge crowd at the Chinthamani theatre. Police were present to control the rush, sometimes using lathi blows to maintain order. Remarkably, while trying to get a ticket, Arunkumar was hit by a police officer. He said the blow was strong enough to cause swelling in his shoulder. Despite the pain, he managed to get a ticket and entered the theatre. However, he still could not see the movie well due to excited fans dancing and the presence of obstructive pillars. Determined to watch the film, Arunkumar bought another ticket for the next showing. He wanted to catch the parts he missed, showcasing his dedication as a Vikram fan. 'Veera Dheera Sooran', which features an ensemble cast including Vikram and S.J. Suryah, is set to release its second part on March 27 this year. The film promises to be an engaging action thriller, with contributions from various talented individuals in cinematography, music, and more.
