Director Martin Campbell plans third Zorro film with Antonio Banderas

Director Martin Campbell is interested in making a third Zorro movie with Antonio Banderas. This follows Banderas' previous roles in 1998's The Mask of Zorro and 2005's The Legend of Zorro. Banderas, now 64, expressed willingness to pass the Zorro mantle to a new actor, potentially Tom Holland. Campbell praised Banderas and noted the idea of a new Zorro would create a "perfect circle." The original Zorro film was a box office success, earning $250 million. The sequel, however, performed poorly, making $142 million. Campbell is currently promoting his new film, Cleaner, set to release on February 21.
