Disabled woman gang-raped by six men in Tripura

In Agartala, a disabled woman was reportedly gang-raped by six men, including her husband. The police have arrested the husband but are still searching for the other five suspects. The incident took place last Friday when the woman's family members were away from home. The husband, along with his drunk friends, allegedly attacked the woman at her in-laws' house in the Jogendranagar area. The police stated that a case of gang-rape was filed on March 14, and the husband has admitted to the crime. In a separate case earlier this month in Gujarat, two men were arrested for the gang rape of a 20-year-old disabled girl. This incident occurred in the Jambusar taluka when the men broke into her makeshift home and assaulted her while her family was present nearby. The attacks were interrupted when a child began to cry.
